Walk-On of the Day: Hey Girl, Ryan Gosling randomly stopped a fight over a painting on the streets of NYC.

[ontd.]

This is fantastic, and I don’t think anyone disputes how awesome Ryan Gosling is.  But I’m actually sorta uncomfortable with the fact that these two moron girls were taping a street fight instead of doing a fucking thing about it, like, oh, say, calling a cop.  In the beginning of the video, they’re actually standing there, taping and giggling and talking about nothing, and then the minute Ryan gets involved they run into the street (smart fucking move) and start squealing like teenyboppers.

I realize we’re in the internet age, but since when did it become appropriate to tape it while other people beat each other up in the street?  I’m mildly horrified at these girls.

I have to agree, why were these girls filming the fight rather than trying to stop it? Sometimes I worry about my generation and the stupid decisions we make. It definitely makes me feel like a person born either too early or too late
